16. Other ideas on how we can better suit your needs?

  • Choice Value
    Unit ed is awesome 1
    None 7
I will take advantage of the VAD team do o bimonthly refreshers 1
    N/a 3
Good time for education for night shifts 1
No other things that I can think of right now 1
    Videos 1
It has been very frustrating to be an experienced nurse, but not having available classes & an updated Matrix to take care of critical patients with cardiac devices 1
Great job! I cannot think of anything right now 1
    none 2
    NA 1
    None required yet 2
More hands on with VADs 1
More info on educational/CE opportunities on campus 1
    Simulation lab 1
    Mentors! 1
I didn't know many of these education resources existed (coffee with committee, caught being goo, etc). I love learning and think we shoul still have classes as new grads now that we actually a picture of the patients and scenarios and have a better understanding of the unit an pt patho. 1
    Review mini bedside teachings 1
Needs are suited! Great experience! 1
    Fantastic 1
Yearly or Bi-yearly VAD, CRRT, IABP review classes would be beneficial - these are high risk, low volume devices that pose huge safety risks to the patient if poorly trained nurses take care of these complex patients. I do appreciate the annual competencies, but review on these devices is a bit abridged 1
Refresher classes available for all devices. Also, include color photos in reference material (i.e. Cheat sheets). 1
Not applicable. Meets my educational needs. 1
Ekos- never had in service 1
    Scenario role play 2
more hands on refresher classes with devices 1
    none, doing great! 1
I have never used/seen/ attended the Jeopardy board, med of the month, whats up 7icu, coffee with committee, or caught being good and there was no way to write n/a so I gave those answers a score of 1. 1
    n/a 1
    Thanks 1
