Changes to summer pre-college Art Institute

To align with the duration of all summer session courses, we are proposing to the FEC to adjust the pre-college summer Art Institute to 3 weeks (from 2). Additionally, we are adjusting the course credit from 3 to 4. Unless students go on to a school that operates on the quarter system, they are unable to use the credits. Changing to 4 units will allow for students who go on the semester system to apply the units towards their degree. The dates for summer 2026 will be June 22- July 10.
